The Prospect KC invites you to an unforgettable evening of elegance, flavor, and community impact at our signature fundraising celebration: UnGala: Bubbles and Brunch.

This isn’t your traditional gala. It’s a cocktail-style experience where Kansas City’s finest gather to toast transformation, enjoy incredible food, and invest in a future where all people have access to opportunity, dignity, and delicious meals.

Guests will enjoy elevated hors d’oeuvres prepared by The Prospect KC Catering team and our talented culinary workforce students — a powerful showcase of the skills and stories built through our job training programs. Featured bites, curated cocktails, and champagne-infused hospitality.

VIP ticket holders will be welcomed with early entry and a private Champagne Flight Tasting hosted by wine expert Nicolas Mermet, plus access to a luxurious lounge with reserved seating and personalized service.

Proceeds from the UnGala support The Prospect KC’s mission to feed our community, disrupt cycles of poverty, and empower the next generation through culinary education, food justice, and nutrition literacy.

Pars for Purpose 9.14.2026

Pars for Purpose is The Prospect KC’s annual charity golf tournament and a core, revenue-generating signature event that brings golfers, corporate teams, and community partners together to raise unrestricted funds for our mission in Kansas City. Hosted as a relaxed 4-person scramble at The Country Club of Leawood, the tournament is a shotgun start at 12:00 with registration opening at 10:30 for players to warm up and mingle. Pars for purpose is designed to feel organized, energetic, and inclusive, with a light breakfast and coffee at registration, an on-course lunch, and plenty of time to build relationships on the greens.​​

More than a casual outing, Pars for Purpose is a strategic platform to deepen corporate and donor relationships while supporting programs that use food as a force for good, including Culinary Futures workforce training, the Nourish KC Community Kitchen, and mission-driven social ventures that create paid, real-world experience for graduates. The event is intentionally welcoming to women-led and mixed-gender teams, with skill-based contests and a focus on ensuring every participant feels expected, respected, and valued.

Players can register as individuals or foursomes, and businesses can step in as sponsors with meaningful visibility throughout the event and thoughtful post-tournament stewardship. Whether you are a seasoned golfer or new to the game, Pars for Purpose offers a well-run, relationship-rich day on the course while investing in a future where everyone has a seat at the table.
