Your Gift is Doubled to Keep the Kitchen Open
Beginning August 24th, 2026, Nourish KC Community Kitchen will temporarily serve chef-prepared, no-cost, no-barrier lunches Tuesday through Thursday, from 12:00–3:00 PM.
The need has not changed. Our neighbors still need a welcoming place to gather, a nourishing meal, and the connection that comes from being known and welcomed at the table.
Right now, an anonymous donor has stepped forward with a powerful challenge: every gift to The Prospect KC will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to $35,000.
That means your gift can go twice as far to help sustain meals, hospitality, and community connection during this temporary service adjustment and help move us closer to restoring five-day Community Kitchen service.

$25 becomes $50 to help welcome neighbors with care and connection.
$50 becomes $100 to support meals and hospitality during Community Kitchen service.
$250 becomes $500 to help sustain day-to-day Community Kitchen operations.
$1,000 becomes $2,000 to help provide consistent no-cost, no-barrier meals and connection throughout the week.
$5,000 becomes $10,000 to help move us closer to restoring five-day Community Kitchen service.
